Ain Dubai, located on the waterfront of Bluewaters Island in Dubai, is the tallest observation wheel in the world. The Ferris wheel reaches a total height of 250 meters with a wheel diameter of approximately 210 meters. The main steel structure weighs about 11,200 tons, over one-third more than the steel used for the Eiffel Tower. The wheel is equipped with 48 double-deck air-conditioned cabins, completes one rotation in about 38 minutes, and can carry 1,750 passengers per ride, offering a 360-degree panoramic view of Dubai Marina, Palm Jumeirah and the Arabian Gulf. The project used giant offshore floating cranes to lift the hub and spindle as a whole, with the core components weighing the equivalent of four Airbus A380 aircraft, serving as a benchmark for contemporary large-scale amusement facility engineering. This Ferris wheel has been officially listed by LAWRENCE WORLD RECORDS CERTIFICATION as the “Tallest Observation Wheel”.
