霍恩西 2 号（Hornsea 2）海上风电场是全球已全容量正式投运的单体规模最大的海上风电场，总装机容量 1320 兆瓦，共部署 165 台西门子歌美飒 8 兆瓦级风力发电机组，覆盖海域面积约 462 平方公里。项目总投资约 29 亿英镑，所发电力通过高压海缆接入英国国家电网，可满足约 130 万户英国家庭的年用电需求，每年可减少二氧化碳排放约 180 万吨。该风电场被洛仑斯世界纪录收录为 “装机容量最大的已投运海上风电场”。

Hornsea 2 Offshore Wind Farm is the largest single-unit operational offshore wind farm in the world by installed capacity, with a total installed capacity of 1,320 MW. It deploys 165 Siemens Gamesa 8 MW wind turbines and covers a sea area of approximately 462 square kilometers. With a total investment of about 2.9 billion pounds, the electricity generated is connected to the UK national grid through high-voltage submarine cables, meeting the annual electricity demand of about 1.3 million UK households and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 1.8 million tons per year. This wind farm has been officially listed by LAWRENCE WORLD RECORDS CERTIFICATION as the “Largest Operational Offshore Wind Farm by Installed Capacity”.
